The Sandberg Wireless Battery-Free Mouse is a wireless optical mouse unlike any other wireless mice. There is no need for tiresome battery changes and slow recharging. What you get is a smart, light mouse without heavy batteries, so you even save the cost of these too. Simply place the mouse on the mouse pad, which is connected to your computer’s USB port. The mouse takes the necessary power from the mouse pad via electromagnetic induction. The mouse’s optical controls ensure optimal precision, and the wide scroll wheel with ergonomic finger groove makes it easy to scroll through menus and documents.

Dutch magazine Digitailing wrote:

»The scroll wheel is a bit wider than most and has a handy notch in the middle for a good, ergonomic grip.«

German ChannelPartner tested the battery free mouse and says:

»Really pleasant to work with. The mouse is light weighted and moves well on the surface.«

The Danish website Boomtown has reviewed the Sandberg Wireless Battery-Free Mouse (12 February 2009). They rate it highly, giving it eight out of a possible ten stars. They said:

»... Attractive, streamlined design in silver and black ... Even when the mouse is still inside the packaging the quality and durability are obvious ... The scroll wheel on the mouse is perfectly positioned underneath your index finger ... The set worked impeccably right from the get-go ... if you want to avoid cables or changing batteries, this mouse is clearly one of the best choices around ...«

The Danish magazine Computer Reseller News has mentioned the Sandberg Wireless Battery-Free Mouse (29 November 2008). They said:

»...an attractive, lightweight mouse without heavy batteries...optimal precision...«

Together with "Komputer for Alle", the Danish newspaper "Ekstra Bladet" (5/1/2008 issue) has looked at lots of different mice. As part of this feature they highlighted the Sandberg Wireless Battery-Free Mouse and gave it 4 out of 6 stars.

»... A wireless mouse that doesn't use up loads of batteries either. It works well but the best thing about it is its low price...«

PC Planet in Denmark has awarded the mouse a rating of 83% (issue 22/9-2005). They wrote:

»You'll never need to worry about batteries for your wireless mouse again.«

PC Hemma in Sweden has awarded the mouse 11 points out of 15 (issue 18/8-2006). They wrote:

»The mouse works with no problems and you don't even need drivers to get it going. The scroll wheel is nice and wide and it has concave shape, which works really well.«
