
1 Introduction
The Sandberg USB Mini DVD Burner (Referred to as "the drive") enables you to burn and read CDs and DVDs. This drive is the perfect addition to a computer without a CD drive or DVD burner.
The drive is powered from your computer's USB port so that you can use it on the go without having to locate a power point. Also works well as a mobile DVD player for your netbook. No software installation is required, enabling you to use the drive instantly.
4 Burning a CD or DVD
4.1 Windows
Insert a writable CD or DVD in the drive.
A dialog box will open automatically.
Select the desired function e.g. burn data CD or burn video DVD.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
4.2 Mac OS
1. Insert a writable CD or DVD in the drive.
2. A dialog box will open automatically.
3. Select the desired function, e.g. iDVD if you want to burn a DVD, or Disk Utility if you want to burn a data CD.
5 Troubleshooting
My computer does not detect the drive.
• Check that both USB cables are connected.
• Try moving the connectors to other USB ports
on your computer.
What can I use to play my movies?
• There is a lot of media player software on-line.

2 Installation
Connect the two enclosed USB cables between the drive and two free USB ports on your computer. The drive will install automatically and will now appear on your drive list.
3 Reading a CD or DVD
Insert a CD or DVD in the drive. Depending on the content of the disc and your computer's configuration, playback will start automatically.
If this does not happen, you can access the drive under the My Computer/Computer menu. You can also delete files from the disc here if the disc allows this.
The drive will typically be allocated drive letter D or E.
