Met de SandbergUSB to Wireless Class 1 Link kunt u een draadloze verbinding maken tussen uw computer en andere Bluetooth®-apparaten als mobiele telefoons, PDA's, printers en hoofdtelefoons. Met een hoofdtelefoon kunt u draadloze gesprekken voeren via uw computer; u kunt bijvoorbeeld chatten of via het internet bellen (VoIP). De Class 1-adapter biedt een bewegingsvrijheid van 100 meter bij aansluiting op een ander Class 1-apparaat of maximaal 40 meter bij aansluiting op een Class 2-apparaat. Verder ondersteunt Bluetooth® 1.2 ook optimale draadloze verbinding, doordat gebruik gemaakt wordt van automatische frequentieselectie, om signaalstoring te voorkomen.
