The Interlink cable is used to transfer files between two computers, both running Windows 95 or later. The cable directly links the parallel (LPT) ports of the two computers.   NB: This cable cannot be interchanged with switch box cables, even if they look identical, as the Interlink cable has internal crossover connections.
