This optical network cable is used to connect network devices with fibre-optic connectors. The cable uses a 50/125 multi-mode micron optical fibre, which is economical but also gives the cable a long range (used in connection with extension equipment). The cable can be used with the current 100/1000/10000 Mbit Ethernet standards and other network topologies that support ST connectors.
