Congratulations with your new Sandberg webcam

The camera works driver-less and is compatible to most chat-applications like Skype, Zoom, MS Teams etc.

If you want to improve the image and get further options for filters, text-overlay, adjustment of exposure, colours etc. we recommend to use a webcam handling software. By using such software you will get a virtual webcam in your chat app allowing you to use all the functions in the handling software real-time while you are in the chat-app.
There are many vendors of such software in the market, but here are a few of our own favorites:
Cam testing software for Windows
Webcam handling software for Windows
Cam testing software for MAC-OS
You can test the cam in the “PhotoBooth” app. Open “finder” and search for “PhotoBooth”.

If you do not get any image at all, check the following:
1 In some cases your Win10 is setup to block video-cameras, because of privacy protection selected.
Go to the Win10 setup and open for the cam by unticking this privacy blocking.
2 Check if your internet browser is setup with any privacy protection blocking for webcam or microphones.
Go to the browser settings and choose allow webcam / microphone.
3 Your antivirus might be blocking the access to your webcam.
In your antivirus settings, deactivate the webcam block.
4 Check that the privacy cover (if on your model) is slided in front of the lens, or the privacy switch is activated.
Move the privacy cover aside or switch off the privacy mode.
5 Test the webcam on another PC in order to isolate if the problem is a local setup issue on your PC or there is a hardware fault in the webcam.
If the webcam works fine on the other PC, you need to find the problem locally with your PC.
If the webcam does not work at all on the other PC, please contact your local dealer for help.
